The superb honey colour of Matai has a distinctive fine grain & soft glowing presence. It was chosen for our elaborate & sophisticated villas of the 1920’s not only because of it’s elegant look, but due to it’s consistent density & ability to withstand wear & tear. Darkening on exposure, Matai floors can be re-sanded back to their original state.
